CR2 is one of the leading global providers of software solutions for internet and mobile banking. Its Bank World solution allows financial institutions to deliver a complete suite of integrated electronic self-service channels including ATM, Internet, Mobile, and Kiosk from a single self-service platform. CR2 has more than 130 implementations across 70 countries and 4 continents.

Objective

To create mobile application for mobile banking: safe and easy update of user interface for bank operations (addition of new questions in user profile, data for calculations, etc.).

Solution

The Promwad Mobile team has designed a universal XML, which is displayed correctly at different mobile platforms (Android, Windows Mobile 7, iOS).

Programming

Our developers created a cross-platform application for mobile banking that can be used not only for Android, but also for Windows Mobile and iOS. Development tools for these platforms:

• Silverlight 4 (Windows Mobile)
• iPhone SDK 4 (iOS)

Advantages

• User doesn’t have to download new software versions, because XML is parsed and a new UI model is created in an automatic mode. For example, a bank operator makes changes in the forms, which the bank clients fill in, and then the program makes the same changes in the running version and distributes it to the users.
• The software operation doesn’t depend on the user’s operating system.
• A user can fill in the bank forms offline. The application sends the filled in form to the bank terminal automatically as soon as the user is online.
